On 12 December 2025, the BHS Alumni Association brought 2025 to year end by "dancing around the Christmas tree" at the VFW on Victory Dr.  The crowd might have been small, but the joy of the season was present, along with lots of dancing, great music provided by our own D.J., Terry Tew, and good food by Macon Rd BBQ.  We had an "Ugly Sweater" Contest and Sandra Duncan Jenkins and David Phillips tied for first place. There were door prizes too!!  A digital 'spin the wheel' app on the phone spun 5 winning names: Robert Willis '62. Cathy W. Kerrigan'72, Rodney Wolfinger '69, and Tak Lampe '73.  Tak drove all of the way from Cincinnati, Ohio.  Several of the winners donated their winnings back BHSAA.

As we look back on 2025, we accomplished our goals set forth and we are filled with pride and gratitude for the milestones we've achieved together. 

Our two main goals are to provide scholarships and community outreach program(s).  Two $2000 scholarships were awarded this year, the first one went to Anna Havencroft and the second one went to Maia Olivia Doyle.  The Community Outreach Program provided John B. Amos with 100 swag bags that were filled with crackers, candy, water, soda, hand tissues, lip balm, and hand lotion. 

We'd also like to thank Roy Cook for providing a wonderful atmosphere each quarter for our Gatherings.  If you haven't been, please come.  It's a time to sit back, catch up with fellow classmates, sip a drink, and dance a little. 

We sincerely thank our current members for their continued support. For those who haven't joined yet or whose membership has lapsed, please consider joining the Baker High School Alumni Association. With annual dues of only $25.00, your support will allow us to continue and enhance these efforts on your behalf.
