Thermon Malone Anderson, age 82, resident of Columbus, departed this life on December 7, 2018. He went home to his Father in Heaven. Graveside services are scheduled on Thursday, December 13, 2018, 3 p.m.at Lakeview Memory Gardens Cemetery, Phenix City, Alabama with Reverend Roger Morrison officiating, according to Striffler-Hamby, Phenix City, Alabama. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the funeral home on Thursday, December 13, 2018 from 12:30 p.m. till 2:30 p.m.
Mr. Anderson, son of the late Almon Clyde Anderson and Lela Jewel Courtney Anderson, was born May 17, 1936 in Columbus. He was a retired electrician, serving the Columbus area faithfully for over 60 years. Mr. Anderson was a member of Cornerstone Church of God, member of the NRA, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He treasured his children and always wanted them to grow up loving the Lord. 
Other than his parents, Mr. Anderson was preceded in death by a son, Thermon Mark Anderson; three brothers, Gramon Anderson, Clyde Anderson, and Luther Anderson; three sisters, Bettie Barefield, Martha Douglas, and Hazel Parks.
He was survived by his wife of over 63 years, Eunice Anderson; sons, Gerald Anderson and his wife Aei, Wayne Anderson and his wife Rhonda, Rodney Anderson and his wife Glenda, Charles Anderson and his wife DuEnne, Eric Anderson, and Keith Anderson; one daughter, Diane Anderson; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; many other relatives and friends.
