David Flint Dervan passed away of ALS Lou Garrett's disease, in which there is no known cure.
Funeral services will be held 10:00AM Friday, June 18, 2021 in the chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Jerry Speer officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:00-10:00 AM prior to the service at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. Interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery, Chapel of Pines..
David was taken care of by his mother Ms. Connie Dervan and many other caretakers.
He was born in Columbus, GA on November 4, 1960 to Connie Dervan and the late Albert Dervan. David graduated from Baker High School in 1978 and he was a Baptist by faith. He and his mother operated Albert Poultry and Meat Company for many years, after his father's death. Other than his father he is preceded in death by his sister, April Dervan and grandson, Vincent Terza.
He is survived by his mother, Connie Dervan, daughters, Kaitlynn of Columbus, GA, Jade of TN, brothers, Robert Hudson of Houma, LA, Michael Hudson of Howard, GA, Tony Dervan of AL, grandchildren, Amelia and Fletcher of Columbus, GA, Jude of TN.
Flowers will be accepted those so desiring may make contributions to Northside Baptist Church at 959 54th St, Columbus, GA 31904.
