Ms. Debra Ann Countryman-Pace was born September 26, 1964, in Plains, Georgia to the late
Henry L. Countryman, Sr and Bertha Jackson Wilson and was the eldest child.
 
She moved to Columbus, Georgia with her family in 1968 and was educated in Muscogee County
Schools. Debra began to study the bible with Jehovah’s Witnesses at an early age and was baptized
November 1, 1980. She began Pioneering in 2010.
 
As a 1982 Baker High School graduate, Debra continued her education at Columbus Technical College, graduating in 1984 and relocating to the metro Atlanta area to begin her career.
 
After settling in Atlanta, Debra worked in administration with Atlanta Gas Light for several years. Being of service to others was important to Debra as evident in her 20 plus year career with Walmart
Corporation as well as her 10 plus years of devotion to the children of Fulton County Schools serving in the transportation department.
 
Debra was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her sons and grandchildren.
 
Debra departed life on September 18, 2022, her memory will be cherished and she will be
missed dearly. She is survived by two sons: Benjamin Chambliss of Atlanta, GA and Brandon
Pace of Fairburn, GA; four brothers: Gregory D. Countryman Sr. (Angela) of Columbus, GA;
Henry L. Countryman Jr. (Allison) of Tyrone, GA; Wesley Countryman (Tierra) of Clarksville, TN; and Frankie Countryman of Columbus, GA; grandmother: Frankie Lee Countryman of Richland, GA; six aunts: Mattie Jordan of Plains, GA; Nancy Westbrooks and Nathelma Maxwell of Americus, GA; Marie Jackson of Clio, AL; Brenda Jones and Mary Josey of Richland, GA; three uncles: Alvin Jackson Sr. (Delores) of Americus, GA; Eddie Jackson Sr of Houston, TX; and Johnny Robinson of Richland, GA; four grandchildren: Zaniyah, Amerie, Benjamin Jr, and Hendrix.
 
Debra also leaves a niece and a host of nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends.
Devoted cousin and friends: Tamara Jordan-Savage, Connie Harper, Leonna Warren, Dawanda Brown, Aleena Borneo, Georgia Allen, Tourjous “TJ” Jackson, Deborah Stubbs-Matthews, and many devoted friends too numerous to name.
