Tom was born July 2, 1955 in Ossining, New York to James DiCesaris and Christina Cerrone Ward. He grew up in a big Italian family. This is how he developed such a big heart for family, food, and a love for working with his hands. If he took it apart, he had to put it back together perfectly. His grandpa said these words to him on a daily basis. Tom graduated from Columbus Technical College and he was the owner and operator of Transmission Experts and was magnificently skilled in the art of transmission building. Tom married Sandy Suloski in 1984. He was a family man who poured out his whole heart for his family, working to provide for his four children and making memories on numerous family vacations that will last a lifetime. Tom loved cars and to work with his hands through cooking and gardening. Because of his childhood home and heritage he especially loved Italian dishes and dreaming up grand business ideas such as the birth of Cerrone’s Pizzeria. He was a great provider and husband. He was so generous to everyone he met that needed help. He excelled in always making people laugh and never met a stranger. He was extremely smart and talented, a great cook, a wonderful brother, and a successful businessman. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother,  Jimmy DiCesaris.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Sandy Suloski DiCesaris of Columbus, GA, children, Jennifer Dobbs (B.J.) of Dallas, GA, Jonathan DiCesaris (Summer) of Fortson, GA, Leo DiCesaris (LeighAnn) of Hamilton, GA, Lillian “Lily” Zimmerman (Thorne) of Fairbanks, Alaska, sister, Carol Cantrell (Spencer) of Columbus, GA, brother, Mike Ward of Columbus, GA,  and his eight grandchildren; Madison, Delaney, Sadie, Kaley, Emmy, Raelyn, Maximus, Cedar and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
