Dr./Col.-Ret. (30 yrs.) Army, Warren Frank Bowland, '64, died in El Paso, TX on Thurs. May 21,2020 at 16:15 from double pneumonia and lung complications (not related to Covid-19). He is survived by: his wife: Dr./Maj.Gen.-Ret. (32 yrs.) Army, Carla Hawley-Bowland; and 4 kids, Christopher, Mark, Scott, & Jennifer.

Warren was a teammate , you knew he was going to do great things. One of the greatest things i've ever seen in sports was va 440 yd dash between Warren and Willinghams superstar Bobby Bryant who went on to play several years in the NFL.
