In Memory

Jim Pierce - Class Of 1972

Jim Pierce

Dear Baker Lionspride,

I am letting you know Jim Pierce, graduate in 1972 (and what a handsome devil!), passed away on 4/26/19. I am his significant other of 6 years & know how much he enjoyed being connected to everyone still after all these years.

Sincerely,

Robbin McGaha

Thanks so much for this update.  Jim's Mom (Carolyn) and my mom were great friends.  My Mom passed away in 2014.  Is Jim's Mom still alive??

So sorry to here of Jim's passing. My Dad was in the Army with Jim's Dad, so we knew each other long before our high school years. It was so great to see him at our reunions. Sending prayeras to you and Jim's family.

Ah.....sad news indeed.  Such a nice guy.  I first met him as Jimmy in about third grade and we were great friends.  And Robbin, even as a little guy, he was a handsome devil....with a great personality.  Sorry for your loss, but grateful for your thoughtfulness in letting us know.

Jim and I were friends for 48 years, and he was virtually a member of my family.  We all miss him terribly.  While our memories of Jim make us smile and laugh, he leaves behind an empty space in our hearts that just can’t be filled.  We are all deeply saddened by his passing. There’s not much more I can say.

Lots of fond memories of Jim.  And those eyes. . .

Rest in peace Jim.  You will be missed by all those who knew you.
