Mrs. Daughtry, daughter of the late W.T. “Mack” Fuller and Lessie Fuller, was born November 22, 1955 in Phenix City. She retired as a Retail Merchandiser where she faithfully worked for many years in numerous stores within the area. Mrs. Daughtry was Baptist by faith and lived life to the fullest. She was known as a hard worker and one who dedicated her life to her family 100% of the time. Mrs. Daughtry was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide fan and also an avid hockey fan, always fully supporting the Columbus Cottonmouths. She enjoyed attending car shows; concerts (especially Southern Rock and Classic Rock); taking trips to the mountains; watching crime stories on television; and the Halloween holiday with family involvement. Mrs. Daughtry often would spend time relaxing at home by the fireplace. The family remembers her as a lady who never met a stranger; a loving mother and “MeMe” to many.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Nora Harkins and Ellen Fuller. She is survived by one daughter, Michelle Fuller and her fiance’ Homer Mulkey of Smiths Station, Alabama; two grandchildren, Dustin Fuller and his fiance’ Rachel and Isaac Sherman, all of Smiths Station; one granddaughter; her great-grandson, Kaleb Kinslow; her fiance’ and lifetime companion, George Marshall of Phenix City; many other relatives and friends.
