Maude Perdue was one of the sweetest ladies that I have ever met. I did not get to know her until she was in her 80s. We were attending the same church in Columbus and when she moved to Covenant Woods she was in her late 80s so she needed a ride to and from church. It was a pleasure to give her a ride and visit with her at her new home. She was so bright and alert for someone her age, she was always positive and always had kind things to say about anyone and everyone. I have been around a lot of older people in my life and I hope that as I get older I can be just like Maude. She was a true sweetheart.
