Deborah S. "Debbie" Smith (Ammons) (1971)

I  was shocked about the passing of Ray.  We had been friends since we were 5.  I have some great memories of us at Winterfield, Eddy and Baker High School.  I had just talked to him the day before he passed and had made plans to go to lunch.  My thoughts and prayers are with his mom, dad, and brother.

Even my mom remembers the "big-earred, buck-toothed boy" that I had a crush on in first grade. I always thought of him as one of my best friends in school, even though we didn't hang out a lot. I was really sorry to hear that he had passed. Barbara Burroughs Hodges
