I was so sad to see that Steve had passed away. He was a good friend -- we lived down the street from each other in high school. I was a year older than Steve -- he ask me to be his date to his JR-SR (his senior year), and at a private party after the dance is where I met and started dating my current husband, Wayne Marsh. Even though we lost contact, I thought about him on many occasions.
Gary - I am so sorry to hear of Steve's passing. Your family and mine led those parallel lives that military families so often do, being posted to the same places at the same time over the years.
