Carolyn Turley (Marsh)

Carol (Carolyn) Turley Marsh, Class of 1966, died peacefully Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2019, after a three-year struggle with ALS, Lou Gehrig’s Disease. She fought the disease with dignity and uncompromised beauty, and she will be sorely missed by the many friends she made at Baker High School and throughout her life. May Carol’s memory touch us all and give us peace.

She lived in Lakeland, FL. Survived By: Husband Wayne Marsh, two daughters, Tracy and Stephanie.

When someone passes we truly liked, the words we express do not describe the knot in our stomach and tightness in our chest. Carloyn will be missed, but most of she will be remembered by many. Donald Freyberger

I didn't know Carolyn but am so sorry to hear of her passing.  I feel like we are all one big family because we were all at Baker during the same time.  My prayers go out to her family.

Carolyn was a dear friend of mine and we had many fun times together, including a good visit with her and Pam Bennett a week before Carolyn died.  I will always hold dear her memory and send heartfelt condolences to Wayne and the family.  Rest in peace, sweet Carolyn.

Lee and I really enjoyed our visit with Carolyn and Wayne last summer in Lakeland.

I can still see that twinkle in her eyes and sense her determination to live the best life

she could in the face of such a terrible disease.

God Bless you Wayne, Tracy, Stephanie and family.

Carolyn was so sweet and kind. Her smile and bright, beautiful eyes lit up a room. I am so glad that we reconnected at the 50th Reunion & I regret the years we were not in touch. My deepest sympathy to Wayne, her daughters, & her entire family. The only comfort is that she is no longer suffering from that terrible disease.
