Simply don't have the words to express the feeling I am having...... Bryon was a good friend. We worked together at the Colonial Store and had some great times at work and school (and in between). I will miss him deeply. Take care my friend, you were truly one of a kind........the best kind. Ronnie

What a great guy Byron was.  It was a pleasure to visit with him the past several months, at the Lunch with Lions Luncheon, the get togethers in Cook's Parking lot and the reunion in Sept.  Miss you ole friend.

I agree Roy, Byron  was an easy to get along with kind of a guy. Always had a smile and a handshake for me. I was truly sad to hear the news. God Bless Byron.

Byron was one of the nicest guys I ever knew.  We were friends all through our years at Baker.  His passing is so sad.  He will be missed by so many.

Byron was in my homeroom all four years at Baker and was always a warm, funny and friendly classmate.

He had a '55 or '56 Chevy, and we used to ride to lunch and enjoy a meal outside the cafeteria.

Byron was a snappy dresser and on the fashion forefront. In his first senior year he showed up one spring day in a pair of sharp looking Madras pants. Several of us were admiring them in home room before the bell when our homeroom teacher came in, saw Byron's pants and sent him home! He was incredulous, as were the rest of the class and pleaded with the teacher to allow him to wear the pants of which he was so proud, but to no avail.

I lost touch with Byron after graduation and was surprised and saddened by the news of his passing.

So sad to hear about Byron.  Prayers for his family and friends.  I also remember about those Madras pants and him being sent home.  So sorry so may of my graduation years schoolmates are no longer with us.
