Teresa (Terry) Lee Warren, 70, passed away peacefully July 2, 2021 in her home surrounded by her family.

Terry was born March 2, 1951 in Atlanta, GA to the late Bennie Lee Askew, Sr., and Colette Askew. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to all who knew her. Always with a giving heart, Terry made extra efforts to help those in need. She loved reading, gardening, and cooking. She grew up as a military brat and lived in many exciting places as a child, then put down roots in Columbus GA, where she graduated from Baker High School, until she moved with her husband to Greensboro, NC in 2005 to be closer to family.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, James (Ed) Warren; children, Stacy Holcomb (Britt) of McLeansville, NC and Robert Warren (Falon) of Smith Station, AL; sister, Karen Clark of Flatwoods, KY and brother Darrell Askew (Nancy) of Covington, GA; grandchildren Jordyn and Tate Holcomb.
