William F. Evers II June 5, 1957- April 24, 2015 Columbus, GA
Mr. William F. "Bill" Evers II of Columbus, passed away Friday at his home at the age of 57. Born in Germany, Bill was the son of the late William and Maria Bok Evers. Living in Columbus most of his life, he was a entrepreneur, being the former owner of A-List Limousine Service, Club 1244 in Columbus and Ossahatchee Seafood and Steakhouse in Ellerslie, GA. Surviving are one brother, Ralph Evers(Judith); niece and nephew, Maria and Martin Evers; devoted friends, Otis Daniels, Mohammed Alalwimi, Suzanne Kraus(Jeff), Sara, Leo and Billie; and a host of other relatives and friends. A Celebration of Life service for Bill will be held 6:00 P.M. Friday, May 1, 2015 at Ossahatchee Seafood and Steakhouse, 6052 GA Highway 85, Ellerslie, GA 31807. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in his memory to PAWS Humane Society, 4900 Milgen Rd, Columbus, GA 31907. Arrangements entrusted to Progressive Funeral Home, Inc. We have lost another Lion. Bill and I were very close friends and we also graduated together. He lived just a few houses from us and we all had a blast growing up in Oakland Park. Bill and I hung out together during our school years. He was a very nice, sweet guy. I am extreemely sad to have heard that he passed away. He was a very smart guy in business, he owned several business over the years. He will be truly missed in this world. He lived 3 house down from me.
