So very sorry to see that Liz has passed. We became great friends after high school while we worked at Gayfers. A great loss to our Baker family.

I was wondering when they would put you on here. Liz I have missed you so much over the years! I know Barbara and I went on and married and did not talk to you the last few years before you died but you were one of my oldest and dearest friends. You will be missed always!! We will see you again someday....I love you Liz!

Evelyn "Little Mojo" Mojica (Montgomery) (1974)

Liz and I hanged out together during middle school years. I remember going to her house many times and admiring her horse collection. She was a bit of a tom boy but as she got older she became interested in boys like the rest of us. I remember she dated a guy (can't remember his name) but he drove a black pickup truck. Liz's parents and sister Jenie were fine folks. Her death was a tragedy---so young. I was greatly saddened to hear about her untimely death. You will be missed Liz!

I dated Liz for about two months. I had a serious crush on her for a long time, but Liz loved someone else. I talked to Liz just a few days before she passed away. I wish now that I had tried to be more involved in her life. I miss her dearly and will always remember her beauty and how smart she was.

To the ones left to honor Liz, The pain is so strong this pain pushes each of us to turn to each other and hug, touch, see, admire our family and friends. This is what keeps us going til we meet Liz again.

To the parents we are partners in Compassionate Friends. You need not walk alone.

Liz and I had a blast in study hall together. She was a lover of horses and love to go riding. We went out close to Catala one Saturday where she had some friends that owned a stable and rode all day! It was a day of fun with friends I'll never forget. She is added amoung the stars that have gone before us and yet not forgotten. This passion for horseback riding had always been with me since then. Oneday my friend we will meet again! My prayers and fondest thoughts are always with her family!

It's hard to know what to say - I could certainly write a book about our escapades. Liz and I were great friends from 5th grade when we met. Spent many weekends at the Hunt Club riding horses and had so much fun roaming the neighborhood (like you could back in those days) and going to the river and sand piles (where we weren't supposed to go). Liz, Mary and I hung out a lot together and had the best time. After high school we continued to hang out and traveled together to the mountains, etc. There was never a dull moment with Liz. I talked to her the night before she died and, of course, had no clue that she'd be gone the next day. Miss her terribly - miss her parents too. The last time I saw Genie was after Col. Jordan died - she lives in Newnan. Those were the days!!

My memories of Liz were those of smiles, friendship and her love of family and our wonderful animals that give us unconditional love   - Thank you Liz for being a friend to all. I think of you often and miss you .

I always though Liz Jordan was one of the most pleasant individuals to ever attend Baker High School.  Although we were not friends, we were aquaintences - she was a class ahead of me.

Does anyone know when or how she passed?  I can't find any information on her passing.

Thanks in advance....Rose (Strickland) Branam
