Box Springs, GA- Deborah Ann Faircloth, 53, Box Springs, GA, passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at Columbus Hospice House. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, October 4, 2013 beginning at 11:00 A.M. EST in the chapel of Vance-Brooks Funeral Home, 4048 Macon Road, Columbus, GA, with Pastor Chip Grantham officiating. Interment will follow at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. EST at the funeral home.
Deborah Ann Faircloth was born November 16, 1959 daughter to Dalton Robertson and Sophia Strength Robertson in Atlanta, GA. Deborah was Methodist by faith and attended Upatoi united Methodist Church. She had a great love for gardening; you could always find her tending to her flowers alongside of Dixie and Lucy, her two dogs who she held very dear to her heart.
Mrs. Faircloth is preceded in death by her mother, Sophia and brother, James Hethcox.
Survivors include, her husband Joseph Carney, of Georgia; sons, Brad Faircloth and wife, Jennifer, of North Carolina, Justin Faircloth, of North Carolina; Father, Dalton Robertson, of Georgia; brothers, Timothy Robertson and wife Patricia, of Georgia, and Gregory Payne, of Florida; Grandchild, Miranda Faircloth, of North Carolina; and ex-husband, Junior Faircloth, of North Carolina; Deborah also leaves behind a life-long friend and final caregiver, Tami Sizemore, of North Carolina, and life-long friend, Debra Hulvey, of Georgia.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to family and friends for their support along Deborah's long journey.
Although Mrs. Faircloth had a great love for flowers, the family is asking that memorial donations be made to Columbus Hospice House 7020 Moon Rd. Columbus, GA. 31909.
