New Features to the Website Posted Sunday, January 5, 2025 09:11 AM I've been working to add some features: 1. A weather widget has been added. 2. Adding "back" icons which will take you back to your previous location. 3. Locating pictures of deceased Lions 4. Going through the online yearbooks to update with missing pages. If you would like to help updating the yearbooks, please contact me at dandylions72bhs@hotmail.com. Thanks, Cathy Cameron Bowden |

RE: New Features to the Website Posted Monday, January 6, 2025 11:34 AM Happy New Year Lions. Hope everyone made it through the Holidays happily and safely. I have a request, that perhaps an admin, past admin, or other Lion with a remarkable memory can help me with. My twin brother Harry Holmes told me, that he was sent a small booklet, that contained postings and stories, that he had made along with postings from others as well. I do not think this was a widely publicized booklet, and was sent to a select group of people (Have no idea whom) Any way, it has been lost, and I am trying to locate a copy, or information on this publication. If anyone has any knowledge of what I'm talking about please contact me via my email hommie@knology.net, or give me a call at 706-577-0185. I would be most appreciative. To help jar anyones memory, it contained a comical story about "How Benning Hills got it's name. Also a story from me about the day it was discovered that Baker High School had been stolen. I think these stories go all the way back to 2009, or perhaps 2010, so I'm not sure there are even any archives available. Thank you again, for any help with this quest. |

RE: New Features to the Website Posted Monday, January 6, 2025 11:39 AM I forgot to mention another question I have. Can someone tell me how to access postings from some years ago, and if they aren't archived, does someone have any hard copy's? I wrothe a song about John Crimmell, in the style of "Big John", and also a poem about the the sad demolition of Baker. These are very meaningful to me. and I would give anything to be able to retrieve them. Thanks again. |
