Allen and I were on the Bi-city champions 9th grade basketball team together. Allen could play basketball very good but he loved football better. I was at the funeral, and that day stands out as one of the saddest days of my life. Allen was my friend

Every year on Memorial Day, I think Of Allen. When he was killed in Vietnam his death had such a profound effect on me. I remember him mostly from all the slumber parties with his sister Mary Ann, as we attended Eddy & Baker together and she was one of my best friends. Him & Kenny used to chase us girls around the house and we would just giggle. Thank you Allen for your service, you are still remembered to this day by so many. God Bless You & This Country that you gave your life for.

I fell in love with Allen when I first met him. I miss him greatly and think of him daily. My mother thinks of him to this day as her "other son". He was such a light in this world. There are too many great times I could tell you about Allen, He made me happy when he was around. I wish I was half the man he was. RIP brother. Mike Roche

Today was my mother's birthday and she is buried at Ft Benning one section over from Allen. Whenever I visit her grave I always think of Allen. He was a great friend and a delight to be around all the time. I am so appreciative of Allen's ultimate service to our country.
