Ronald Allen Baillif, 67, of Pearl River, LA, passed away peacefully in his home on April 4, 2022.

Ron and his wife, Faye, have been married for almost 43 years.  They settled in Pearl River in 1981, where they grew their family. Ron worked as a Senior Financial Analyst with Lockheed Martin until he retired in 2008.  He loved being retired, working in his garden at home, and spending time with his dogs.  Ron was a dedicated member of First Baptist Church, Pearl River.  He is survived by his loving wife, Faye Baillif, his mother Hella Bennett (Charlie), two daughters Cynthia Ripoll (Mike) and Rebecca Pitman (Jay), five grandchildren Caleb, Hank, Mason, Madeleine, and Clara, his brothers Raymond, Randy and Kenneth, and his sister Dorothy.  He was preceded in death by his father, Victor J. Baillif.

He will be greatly missed by his friends and family here on earth, but we rejoice in knowing he is walking the streets of Heaven with our Lord.

Memorial Services for Ron will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at First Baptist Church in Pearl River, LA at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, it was Ron’s wish that contributions be made in his memory to the Children’s Camp Fund at First Baptist Church, PO Box 729, Pearl River, LA 70452.

So sorry to hear of Rons passing. He and I both worked at Sears in the Columbus Square Mall (before its' closure in 2001) during our Junior and Senior years; in the layaway department. He, Ralph Fitch and Roxanne Fitch won Junior Achievement awards in 1971 for their work and endeavors with management studies for the SeRoCo organization. I still have a clipping from the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer with Ron and Roxannes pictures with their awards. Ralph was listed as a top salesman for the group, though no picture was on the front page. I took my wife, and two children to Columbus; on March 31, 2007 - before the BHS fire, so that they could see the High School from where I graduated. So glad that I took pictures of the old school, before it burned down. We also went to see the mall, not knowing at the time, that it had closed down. Still got pictures, from the road, of the old closed down Sears building and the adjacent auto repair shop where my father then worked... RIP, Brother...
