Mr. Camp was born in Sylacauga, AL on August 15, 1948, died Monday, June 28, 2021 in Lexington, SC. Mr. Camp was retired from the United States Air Force after 20 years of service to his country. In addition to his military service, Mr. Camp was also employed by Piggly Wiggly and Publix.

Mr. Camp was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel Benjamin Camp and Alma McGrady Camp; son, Gerome Benjamin Camp; daughter, Rosaleen Camp Kwong; sister, Myra Jane Camp Thorne; and brothers, Daniel Wade Camp and Richard Ray Camp. He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Walter David Camp and Deborah Shaw Camp of Saluda, SC; sister and brother-in-law, Melanie Camp Kress and William Dennis Kress of Commerce, GA; grandson, Leland Kwong of Myrtle Beach, SC; sister-in-law, Cynthia Crawford Camp of Lexington, SC, in addition to numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at Hollins Cemetery in Clay County, outside Sylacauga, AL.
