I was so sad to hear about his death. I met Lee when his sister (Lisa) married my brother (Bill McCormick) I didn't know him well, (I was only 13) he was always kind and friendly to me. He was always happy and joking around. His sister Lisa loved him dearly. I know his family and friends miss him terribly.
Lee and I were friends at Baker 66-68. Humorous incident I have never forgotten: One afternoon while we were standing in the front lawn (perhaps waiting for bus home), a much older guy came along and addressed Lee as "Uncle Ira". After he left, Lee explained that he was indeed the guy's uncle -- even though he himself was the younger. And -- that his first name was Ira -- though he preferred to be called Lee.
