Betty Joyce (Scott) Quinn, 88, of Bloomington passed away from Covid-19 complications on Monday January 4, 2021 at Brown County Health & Living in Nashville, Indiana
She was born on March 28, 1932 in Columbus, Georgia, the daughter of Eugene G. and Dora (Richards) Scott. Betty attended Baker High School in Columbus and Columbus College. Betty married Ernest Ellsworth Quinn on September 12, 1950 in Winchester, Virginia and they were married for 63 years. She obtained her real estate license later in life and worked as a real estate agent for Jefferson Reality. She was a member of Morningside Methodist Church and enjoyed golf, dancing, entertaining, and family gatherings. She particularly enjoyed the company of her granddaughter and her many nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed.
Betty is survived by her son and daughter-In-Law, Jim and Debbie Quinn of Bloomington, Indiana; a granddaughter, Molly Erin Quinn of Chicago and five siblings; Bobby Scott of Fort Worth, TX, Ann (Scott) Lefebvre of Flowery Branch, GA, Cary Scott of Panama City, FL, Beatrice (Scott) Simmons of Douglasville, GA, and Zachary Scott of Atlanta, GA
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and seven siblings; Clyde (Scott) Marion, Andrew Scott, Edgar Scott; Lucille (Scott) Orr Allard, Adele (Scott) Webber, Clinton Scott, and David Scott.
There are no services scheduled at this time. Cremation Rites have been accorded.
