In Memory

Michael Xinos - Class Of 1966 VIEW PROFILE

Early this morning Michael passed away and joined his Heavenly Father. He is in a better place now that he is out of pain but we miss him dearly. He was a fighter up until the end and I know that no one is surprised by that. There is no one that I know that is so blindly generous, caring and loving and the world is dimmer without him but he is shining in heaven. His impact on the people around him was so profound and I know that many will feel an empty gap in their hearts following his loss. I know that we do....

Thank you for all the kind words of support and keeping our family in your prayers. -- Lisa

So I wanted to send out the information on the service for my dad. We are still working out some of the details on his website so keep an eye out and it should be coming soon. We are trying to set up a way for people to donate to the Boulder Community Hospital ICU for the impeccable care they provided my dad and that info should also be coming soon.

The service is Thursday September 7th at LifeBridge Christian Church. It starts at 2 PM and there will be a reception after.

For those of you that cannot join us in person I will be live streaming the services so that you can pay your respects and celebrate my dad's life.

Love,
Jacq and Lisa

Even though I didn't know Michael in High School I had the privelege to get to know him by e-mail a couple of years ago. He contacted me because we both were in Colorado.  He told me about his love of family and love of music. He also told me the story about really being in the class of '65. He explained that he enlisted in the service right before graduation. The school was suppose to mail his diploma but didn't for over a year. When it came it had '66 as his graduation date.  We were going to try to meet but never did.  May Michael rest in peace. Cheryl Newman Pierce '66
