Eunice (Hagler) Birge, age 85, of Columbus, GA, passed away March 31, 2017 at the Columbus Hospice House. Funeral Services will Wednesday April 5, 2017 at 3:00 pm, at Striffler – Hamby Funeral Home, 4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA, in the Edgewood Hall. A visistation will be held on Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 pm, and prior to services on Wednesday from 1:45 until 2:45 pm.
Eunice, is the daughter of the late Joseph and Hattie Hagler and was born in Clio, AL, on October 2, 1931. Eunice graduated from Baker High School. She married Buford Birge on June 22, 1948. They had two children, Donnie and Gloria. Eunice was employed as a packer at Sunshine Biscuit Company. What she enjoyed most was being a wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. 
She was preceded in death by, her husband Buford. She is survived by her daughter Gloria (James) Davis; her son, Donnie (Tammie) Birge; four granddaughters, Lisa Cypert; Jennifer (Adam) Churchwell; Summer Birge (Carlos); and Nicole (Nick) Bowers; two grandsons, Chris (Lisa) Davis and Jason (Nichole) Davis; 14 great grandchildren; and a brother Marvin Hagler.
