In Memory

Roger Sabordo - Class Of 1973 VIEW PROFILE

My brothers, George and Roger, are deceased. Roger (class of '73) died in 1993, and George (class of '72)  died in 2000. They are still loved and missed by many, but especially by their little sister, who has so many precious memories of their time together in New York, Tallahassee, and Atlanta. --Rosalie Sabordo BHS '76

Marixa Alicea (Rigsby) (1972)

Sorry to hear about your brother Roger passing away. I Marixa Alicea was the Puerto Rican girl who lived across the street from your family on Calhoun Drive. Your parents and siblings were always a joy to know. I knew your brother George and your sister Shirley and your oldest brother Jr who managed the KMart on Airport Thruway in Columbus. I wish you the best.

My Roger was not only a younger brother, but also one of my very best friends. While he was dieing in the hospital bed, I stared intently at his face so that it would be embedded in my memory forever.

knowing how you made me laugh
hearing sweet echo's of you from the past
i will remember you

so many years come and gone
and yet the memory is strong
one word we never learned is goodbye
true love is frozen in time
i'll be your champion and you will be mine
i will remember....so please remember
i will remember you

Roger......your just a dream away! BHS had a joyful time with all you "Sabordo" members! It seems as yesterday that we were all in school together. Your another star in the sky along side your brother George. You are not with us face to face but truly live inside our heart memories forever. God bless your family members always!
