Vivian passed away March 6, 2007 at St. Francis hospital. She was 78 years old and lived in Columbus, GA.

Mrs. Adams, daughter of the late Hugh A. Allen and Sara Lee Agnes Hilliard Allen, was born June 25, 1928 in Smithville, GA. She worked and later retired as a Procurement Contractor for both Fort Benning and Fort Gordon,GA., after serving over 24 years of faithful service.

Mrs. Adams was a member of First Baptist Church, Cartersville,GA. Prior to moving to Cartersville, GA, she was an active member of Hillcrest Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday School Teacher and also, Director of the Children's Department. Later, she became an active member of Morningside Baptist Church where she served as an Outreach Leader for the Joy Sunday School Class and also, a member of the Women on Missions.

She was survived by 3 children: Son - Jerry Lee Adams, Daughters - Carol Adams LaMee & husband Alan, Kimberly Adams King and her husband David. Four sisters - Marianne Allen Pierce and husband Robert, Sara Allen Joiner, Luellen Allen Tomblin, and Kaye Allen Kyle. One brother - Paul Allen and his wife, Kathy. Two grandsons, Kenneth Alan LaMee and Dylan Jared Adams.
