Phillip Ligon 1949-2015

SANTA ROSA BEACH, FL- Phillip Oneal Ligon, 65, of Santa Rosa Beach, FL, died on August 11, 2015 of brain cancer. He was born on November 10, 1949 in Columbus, GA.
Phillip was a graduate of Baker High School and retired from Colonial Baking Company/Sara Lee (where he was known as the "Bread Man") after 42 years of service. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
He is predeceased by his parents, William Oneal Ligon and Mattie Evelyn Burks Ligon and two children, Matthew Oneal Ligon and Crimson Fallon Ligon.
Surviving are his wife, Rita Ann Ligon; daughter, Tara Faith Snider; stepdaughter, Sherri Lee Ramsey; sisters, Edith Lyle Ludy (Jerry) and Patricia Clair Berryment (Buck); brother, Adam Keith Ligon (Julie); step grandchildren, Joshua Cain Renew, Jessica Taylor Renew, and Brittany Danielle Renew; and five step great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday, August 15 at Vance-Brooks Funeral Home, 4048 Macon Road in Columbus, GA, followed by the Graveside Service and burial at Park Hill Cemetery. Family-Funeral & Cremation of Pensacola, FL, is handling arrangements.

Gloria Jane Cantrell (Gordon) (1967)

So sorry to hear of his passing.  He was a good and kind person, and a friend when we were young.
