The following obituary appeared in the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer this morning.  I have been told that Joe only attended Baker his freshman year.  He is the brother of Phil Tomlinson, class of '64.

Columbus, Georgia- Joseph "Joe" S. Tomlinson, 65, of Columbus, GA., died Thursday, May 15, 2014 in Panama City Beach, Florida.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, May 19, 2014 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA., with Reverend Norman Dunlap officiating. A private burial will be held in Parkhill Cemetery. Visitation will be held after the services at the funeral home.
Joe was born March 8, 1949 in Columbus, GA., son of the late Sarah Wilson Tomlinson and Arlin Matthew Tomlinson. He retired after 25 years from GMAC as a credit collector and has been a fraud investigator with TSYS for the last 10 years.
Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Ann Kreidinger Tomlinson of Columbus GA., brothers; Charles Timothy Tomlinson (Frances) of Groton, Conn., Philip "Phil" Wilson Tomlinson (Anita) of Columbus, GA., David Arlin Tomlinson (Cheryl) of Columbus, GA., nieces and nephews; Christopher Tomlinson, Kevin Tomlinson, Marian Riley, Beth Daffin, Jennifer "J.J." Radding, Tracey Tomlinson, Sarah Goodpaster, Cayla Tomlinson, numerous great nieces, nephews and cousins.
