Paula was a beautiful person inside and out. Great sister to Augie (my best friend) and Mikey! I think of Paula often, she is truly missed by the Bellardine family, as is Maryann. I feel honored to had known her!

I met Paula and Augie when I was a new student at Key Elementary School, in the Fall of 1969. My Father had just been killed in Viet Nam, and I'd transferred there from a DOD school from On-Post. I met the Bellardine family then, and was often with them during a kid-related sporting events and such.

Paula and I used to go downtown to Broadstreet, to this old roller skating rink, on Saturday mornings. Our Mothers would take turns driving us there.

Paula and I didn't stay close during High School. We actually reconnected during my college years, and Mikey was a good friend of mine then. Paula was the driving force behind our Class of '76 Class Reunion...but I was working my 2nd job at LaGrange's ER that weekend, and couldn't attend.

I miss Paula. She was a sincere and good friend to me. I contribute to the Breast Cancer Fund annually, and want to thank the Bellardine Family for being so nice to me back then. It meant everything.

I babysat for the Bellardines a few times. Very sad...

I learned of Paula's passing by bumping into Sandra Lowe at CSU just months after her death. Needless to say I was devastated! Paula, Augie, and I were close during our band years at at EJHS as well as BHS. Paula and I stayed in contact with each other until I started my family and we began serving our country. I truly miss her and often think of the great times and stories we shared as I worked my way through college. We both kept each other in stitches during our late nights at Kirven's in Columbus Square Mall. Mrs. Bellardine "got me my" first job in Columbus at Sear's and Roebuck on Macon Road. What a beautiful person she was from a beautiful and loving family!

Affectionately,

Teresa Buckner-Hopkins

Paula.........your always remembered in our hearts! It seems as yesterday that we had a couple of classes together at BHS. You and your brother "Augie" were so close that when something happened to either one of you the other knew it! I remember to good old times we had in that science teachers class......Ms. Redecki. I pray all is well with the rest of your family and that they know oneday they will see you again. God bless you all. Your not with us now but you are not forgotten either.

Paula was a very dear and close friend of mine. We lived several houses from each other in Oakland Park. Our families all went to Our Lady of Lourdes Church on Torch Hill Road. We all went to Key Elementary School, Eddy Jr. High (Middle School now) and Baker High School. Paula was a very kind, considerate, loving and a super lady. Her charm, humor and sweet personality made me love her that much more. We hung around together, went to movies, parties, dances and double dated, what fun we had! Not to mention we were the "Delta" girls. I stay in touch with Augie. I just saw Mike for the first time in many years at the All Baker Reunion this past September 2014. Of course Maryann was always with us and still is in heart and spirit. Paula was a true friend and I miss her very much. Rest in peace sweetheart. We will party again someday.
