Kenny Renew (1970)

Ken lived across the street from me on Hawthorne Street. His brother Marvin, and sisters all attended Baker. Marvin and I were once driving on Benning Drive in front of the school when I took my eyes off the road to yell at some girl. I hit the rear of a 64 Pontiac throwing Marvin into the windshield. Tail lights really look big just before you hit the rear of a car. Ken drove his Mustang over and took us home.
Ken was a good guy and will be missed. May Ken rest in peace.

Kenny was a long time friend from high school and working together for many years. I know his family and friends will miss him each day. Ken and a group we worked with once tipped a co-worker over in a porto-potty and almost suffocated him. Rest in peace old friend, the memories will be forever.
