I ran into Frank in Germany in 1973. We had dropped some Special Forces troops into the valleys, at night, at low altitude near Bad Tolz. One of the jumpers landed on another’s chute and ran off to deploy the secondary. He didn’t make it and hit the ground very hard so we turned around to Medevac him to the local hospital. There was a combat medic on site and was performing mouth to mouth to keep the guy alive as they loaded him on the aircraft. To my surprise it was Frank. He kept that guy alive the entire flight. We got together several times after that to tell some lies, drink some very good German beer, and remember our times at Baker.

Oh, Frank. I am so sad to know you are not with us any longer. I loved you as one of my great high school friends. A crzy man on the football field and always a good friend to me. Missy, I didn't know. I am so sorry for your loss. Your brother was one of a kind. Carolyn

I remember Frank as always having alot of fun. I wore his football jacket one day and because of that my house got rolled the next. Mike Smith and a few other folks were in on this. They rolled my house so good that they attached it also to the door so when my mom opened the door half of it fell to the ground. My mom was livid. But it caused alot of laughs. Needless to say I always thought before I wore another jacket. I also remember Franks mom as a mentor in my life. May God Bless you both and we will laugh together in heaven.

The Frank Mazeika I knew was a socipathic bully who brutalized and tormented me from the 6th grade to the 11 th grade. Frank convinced me that I was fat, stupid, ugly and didn`t deserve to live. May his twisted soul rot in Hell for All Eternity.

Frank was one heck of a football player at Baker, and was a really funny guy who could make you laugh, too. I enjoyed both him and his sister, Missy. Both were great kids! I know he is missed.
