 Mr. Joseph Marvin Richerson, 49, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at his residence in Columbus, Georgia. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at 11 A.M. At Vance-Brooks Funeral Home, 4048 Macon Road Columbus, Georgia with Minister Stephen Richerson officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 16, 2015 from 6-8 P.M. Joseph was born on September 29, 1965 to Claude Richerson and Mary Cathryn Greathouse Richerson of Columbus, Georgia. Joseph was a graduate of Baker High School and Columbus State University. Joseph worked as a computer programmer for CB&T. He is preceded in death by his brother Ralph Philip Richerson. Survivors include his parents; Brothers David and wife Denise Richerson of New Braunfels, Texas, Stephen and wife Becky Richerson of Salem, Virginia, Danny and his wife Debbie Richerson of Liberty, Missouri, Tim and his wife Dawn Richarson of Lawrenceville, Georgia. Joseph is also survived by ten nieces and nephews. Joseph was an animal lover and devoted dachshund owner. He was a loving son and caregiver to his parents. Joseph will be dearly missed by those whose lives he touched.
