Johnny moved to Columbus and attended the Eight Grade at Eddy. He lived at the intersection of Torch Hill Road and Matthews Drive. During his Baker days he played freshman football, was in ROTC, and a very good guitar player. He left Baker at the end of his junior year to join the Army and see the world (Viet Nam). After his service he continued his education and worked in health care. He later moved to Panama City, Florida to work and died of Liver Disease in 1996.
