COLUMBUS, GA- Andrew Frank Stringfellow, Sr., 65, of Columbus, GA passed away Wednesday, March 02, 2011 at Columbus Hospice House after a long battle with Leukemia according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Columbus, GA.
Mr. Stringfellow was born April 10, 1945 in Selma, AL, son of the late Bertie L. and Angela K. Gudac Stringfellow. He graduated from Baker High School in 1962 and earned a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Columbus State University, a Master's Degree in Operations Management from Mercer University, and an Undergraduate Degree in Industrial Management from Georgia Tech. Mr. Stringfellow was also a U.S. Air Force veteran.
Survivors include his loving wife of 46 years, Mary C. Stringfellow of Columbus, GA; his daughter, Bridget Stringfellow Sands of Ocean Springs, MS; his son, Andrew Stringfellow, Jr., of Columbus, GA; two brothers, Paul V. Stringfellow of Winter Haven, FL, and Ben Stringfellow of Bowden, GA; two sisters, Cathy Sellers of Cataula, GA, and Maria Pate of Columbus, GA; nine grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Connie and family,

 

I met Frank while working at P&W Aircraft.  He was one of a kind...smart, funny and so, so helpful. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.  Eileen Bradford Ruff

My prayers are with you and your family.  Frank was a great guy and I enjoyed working on the BUMS reuion with him.
