Cassandra Lee "Cissy" Whitt (Dotzler) (1964)

I am heartbroken to hear this news of Al's passing. No one brought to life his years at Baker High School more than Al. No one valued his BHS years more, and no one stayed connected to classmates more than Al despite the distances. Al was truly special and made others around him feel special, too. Rest in Peace, dearest Al. Cissy Whitt Dotzler

I smile when I remember Al.  He loved BHS and his classmates. He visited us in Bhm and Atlanta and never tired of recalling high school memories. RIP dear Al.

So sad to hear of Al's passing. Sissy's words reflect my thoughts exactly.  Al was an Attorney. I honored his opinions. His praise of Baker was continuous with his witty since of humor. Al was an accomplished author of two books. One was named The Officers Candidate School. A story of many of Baker friends in the army,(most of their names changed). The second book was his motercycle adventures of his fast Indian brand bike. Al had a familiar saying while laughing, "What do you think this, your birthday?!". Which would break up any serious gathering in the halls of Baker. Al wore madris plaid shirts, canterbury leather belts, and his Bass Weejuns penny loafers. ( A classic in the 60's) Al will be remembered as a friend to everyone who knew him. We will truly miss you Al......
