I am so sad to learn that Susan has passed away.  She was such a bright light in everyone's eyes.  She was such a joy to be around.  We were cheerleaders together and we had so much fun carrying the lion into the games, and cheering for our Baker Lions.  I'll cherish the reunions that we attended together, just catrching up on the olden days.  Rest in peace, dear Susan, now an Angel, watching over all of us.  Forever in my heart.  Neecy (that's what she called me), Edward and Allison.

I'm so sorry to hear of Susan's death.  Thank you all for sharing your stories of her.  I was class of '68 and did not know her personally except for passing her in the hallways.  May God bless Susan's family and give them comfort for these are difficult times.

There was not a finer lady on planet earth than Susan.  The BUMS 2000 reunion brought us back together as friends.  In 2003, Susan designed my hot dog place on onion skin paper.  She said to me "If you do it like this, you will be successful".  11 years later I am still in business. Love you Susan.

I had the honor to speak at Susan's memorial service and could not help but cry.  Miss you so much.  God has a new angel in Heaven.

I haven't been on this site for a very long time. Way before Susan passed away. It is still so hard to believe she isn't a phone call or an airplane ride away. I was her first student. I remember being so annoyed when she would constantly correct me but later I thanked her for doing so. She taught me things like you never end a sentence with a preposition... because I asked her where my shoes she borrowed were at... (?) Yep, 'at' is a preposition. And she never told me where my shoes were so she taught me the art of 'changing the subject' too. I could go on forever!

Susan now has a new daughter in law and another bio-grandson Gianni Bruno as well as 3 step grandkids. I have no doubt she is with them at all times. With Marcus that makes 5!!!

I will stop by here again. I kinda feel close to her being on this site with all her beloved fellow LIONS!!!

I miss her dearly.

Susan Headley - gone but far from forgotten! I loved her crazy attitude and the way she never backed down on anything but would readily debate the pros and cons on the spot. Always the lady, Susan was a role model every day at school. The way she dressed - her understated elegance - the quiet way she held herself and the mischievous sparkle in her eyes. She introduced me to creme eye shadow and older boys. She was also in the car with Mike Grant the night I left home for good right after graduation. Luv ya, Susan, you'll shine forever in our hearts and the Lion's Den!!
