JoAnn G. Jackson June 11, 1942 - April 28, 2010 HAMILTON, GA— JoAnn G. Jackson, 67, of Hamilton, GA died Wedesday, April 28, 2010 at her home.
The family received friends Friday, April 30, 2010 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at McMullen funeral Home, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA 31907. Private burial will be at a later date.
Mrs. Jackson was born June 11, 1942 in Savannah, GA daughter of the late Andrew and Margaret Bunning Gillenwater. She retired from Aflac after 33 years working as a manager of Agents Accounting.
Survivors include her husband, James Ronald Jackson of Hamilton, GA; son, Todd Martin (Stacy) of Hailton, GA.; brother, Floyd "Skip" Gillenwater (Peggy) of Savannah, GA and niece, Kim Durden (Wayne) of Columbus, GA.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Egleston Children's Hospital in Atlanta, GA, 1405 Clifton Rd, Atlanta, GA 30322.
