I believe it was our freshman year and Wade and a friend were digging a cave close to the river (Oakland Park) when it collapsed. He was a very nice guy.
i remember wade. i talked to him on sadie hawkins day the friday prior to his cave digging and he invited me to go. i turned him down on that. That i believe would have been spring of 1966 i'm pretty sure of that. i was talking to him in the cafeteria and he mentioned going cave digging and asked me if i wanted to go.
