Howard Reliford, 54, of 3103 Hubbard Street, Columbus, GA, died Saturday, August 11, 2007 at his home. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, ugust 16, 2007 at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery. Reverend Hawthorne Reed will officiate. He was born June 25, 1953 in COlumbus, GA, son of the late Gertrude Chambers Reliford and Clark Reliford. He was employed with Civil Service at Fort Benning. He was a 1971 graduate of Baker High School and was a US Army veteran of the VIetnam era. Survivors include his wife, Shirley Jefferson Reliford; brothers, Clark A(Annette) Reliford of Midland, GA, Herbert Reliford of Columbus; sisters, Charlie Mae (CLarence) Rutledge of Phenix City, AL, Gloria (Gary) Jackson of Midland, GA, Gladys (Wilfred) Robinson of Conyers, GA, Janice Feagins of Columbus.
