Eddie had the biggest grin in the world!  and what a laugh!!!

He and Gary were my wing men in Eddy Jr. High.  They came over on their bikes almost every afternoon.  My Dad let me stay out later if I was with Eddie and Gary.

Or we would just watch Westerns and eat popcorn at my house.

I remember Eddie's dad taking us to baseball games and to drive-ins.

We discovered the Beatles together.  (some of you may have heard of the gumball machine incident)

I loved them both dearly and will never forget all the fun adventures we had.

Eddie,

I remember the moment that I heard of this bad thing.  I was attending our Class of "68" 20th year reunion.  I remember talking to you, hoping that you would respond in kind.  I am so sorry to see that never happened.

You were a good person and I am sure missed by many.  Godspeed My friend.

Howard Webb and I drove to Birmingham when we heard of the accident.  They let us in the ICU to see Eddie and both of us broke down and cried.  I miss you my dear friend.

Eddie and I played little league baseball together.  My oldest brother was one of the coaches of the team and he would hit grounders to Eddie as hard as he could and Eddie would always come up with the catch.  I was very impressed with his skills and wished I could play as good as Eddie.  He was a great guy.  You are missed my friend
