Brenda was my sister. Roger Hopper was her twin brother (Class of 67) and her older sister was Peggy Hopper (Pilgrem) (Class of 65). She was married to Eugene Mann of Valley Ala. They had one child, Amy. She was an avid reader, read anything she could get her hands on. Favorite books were Tarzan and romance novels. She loved classical music and horses. She was very strong willed and hard headed. She was my favorite sister. She never judged me and always had an open door and a room for me in some of my dips in the road. If I ever needed anything or anyone she was always by my side. As she was passing away I asked her to come back to me and let me know she was ok in heaven. About 2 years later I was asleep on the couch and I heard the phone ring. When I answered I heard her say "This isn't Amy". and she hung up. Then about a couple of months later she woke me up late one night, she was sitting on the edge of the bed. She said she was "just visiting". I asked her if she was ok and she said "Yes I'm ok" I knew then she would always be with me. I miss her every day. Life does go on. I just thank GOD she was with me as long as she was. I do not know what would have happened to me had she not been there for me. Be kind and forgiving to all you love. No one knows when GOD is going to call you or them home.
