Barbara Dunham

Columbus, Georgia- Barbara Dunham, age 77, resident of Columbus, died on Friday, January 11, 2013 at her residence. Funeral services are scheduled at the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus on Monday, January 14, 2013 at 3 p.m. Interment will follow at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, January 13, 2013 from 2-4 p.m.
Mrs. Dunham, daughter of the late Leroy Thompson and Mattie Vieta Massey Thompson, was born May 9, 1935 in Smiths Station, Alabama. She was retired from AAFES after over 28 years of faithful service.
Mrs. Dunham was preceded in death by a daughter, Vickie Jones. She is survived by one daughter, Kathy Waldrup of Columbus; two granddaughters, Chante Treadwell and her husband Scott of Columbus and Amber Jones of Columbus; one grandson, Brandon Waldrup of Columbus; one son-in-law, Peter Jones of Columbus; other relatives and friends.
