Kathleen R. Daniel

Virginia Beach - Kathleen "Kay" Daniel, 75, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2013, while at home.
Born in East Liverpool, OH, she was the widow of Preston S. Daniel to whom she was married 34 years. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Timothy Fagan. Kay was a devout member of Haygood United Methodist Church, a Red Hatter and a volunteer in the community. Above all, Kay was a loving mother and grandmother who loved travel and adventure.
Kathleen is survived by her daughter, Teresa Williams; son, Allen Brown (Shelli); son, Larry Daniel; daughter, Sandra Carr (Ron); son, David Brown (Cindy); nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 31, at Haygood United Methodist Church by Rev. Charles "Chuck" Shumate. Arrangements are by Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel.
