Marietta, GA- Mrs. Pamela Rena Draine Obee of Marietta, GA passed Thursday at Wellstar Cobb Hospital. She was 42 years of age.
The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde W. and Maryann Draine of Columbus, Pamela was born in Euphora, MS on October 8, 1969. A 1987 graduate of Baker High School, Pamela obtained a Business Degree from Troy State University in 2004 and was employed with Wells Fargo in Austell, GA as a Service Manager. She was a former member of Locust Hill Missionary Baptist Church where she was active in the choir and was also a member of the Rose Fidelity, No. 651, Order of Eastern Star in Wilmington, NC.
Survivors, other than her parents, include: her husband, MSG Arthur M. Obee; four children, Naomi Rena Obee, Arthur M. Obee, Jr., Megan Obee, and Omar Obee; two brothers, Anthony Draine and Carlos Draine; a sister, Samantha Hargrove; her father and mother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur W. and Ernestine M. Obee; a sister-in-law, Alicia Obee-Wyche (John); two uncles, Charles Brown and Dan Brown; special cousin, Connie Manuel; god brother, Stanley Dixon; a host of niece, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
Homegoing Services for Mrs. Obee will be Today, 11:00 am at Locust Hill Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. E. Merle Brown, pastor officiating. The interment ceremony will be held Thursday, 1:00 pm at the Pike Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Burgaw, NC. The cortege will depart from 931 Harbison Drive, Columbus at 10:15 today. Arrangements entrusted to the staff of Progressive Funeral Home, Inc.
