I met Bruce when I moved to Mesa St in Oakland Park the summer of 1974.  He and Kenny Hall and I spent most of the summer together that year.  It was the summer before our first year of high school.  We had so much fun!  I can remember just laughing all the time!  He was such a funny, kind and sensitive person even at that age.  I can still see his face in my minds eye.  I moved in the spring of the next year and never saw or spoke to him again.  I would try to look him and Kenny up through the years but was never successful.  I was so shocked and saddened to see his obituary online recently.  I know it has been sometime since his passing but my thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends, I know he is greatly missed.
