After graduation, I went to nursing school in Chicago, and came back to Columbus to marry Larry Lamar Woodham ("70 Jordan grad) in 1973. Spent time in Frankfurt, Germany then moved to Atlanta and worked 13 yrs. for Grady Hospital as a med. admin. asst. Formed my own Polynesian dance troupe, "Kele's Pacific Paradise" 25 yrs. ago using primarily family members. We have performed throughout the SE to include the 1996 Olympics. In 1996, we were blessed to adopt the most beautiful son who has completed our lives. On 12/99, by God's precious mercy, I survived a ruptured brain aneurysm in my brain stem. I was at Emory Univ. Hosp.'s ICU for 3 wks. The Lord spared my life to be able to raise my son. We now live in Lilburn, GA and Larry will be retiring from the Dekalb Co. Sheriff's Dept soon.

School Story:

During the racial episode when the whites met in the cafeteria and the blacks met in the gym, Barbara Choy & I stood in the hallway and looked totally baffled. "Where do WE go?", I asked. We decided to spend 15 minutes in each room to be politically correct. Although experiencing the racial episode and the auditorium burning down in 1971, Baker High School had such an incredible racial background and loving faculty staff that will never be forgotten.
