My thoughts and prayers are with DeWayne's family and friends for this loss. My God grant them the peace during their time of sorrow. Remember only the good times. Those are the same memories I have of DeWayne from high school. Even though he was  few years a head of me, he was always nice to me and never looked down on the members of the under classes. He was a sweet and gentle young man and I know will be missed by many, one of them me. Rest in Peace my friend.

DeWayne was a school buddy of mine.  I remember once at Eddy Junior High School he got fed up with a school bully picking on every one and beat him up pretty good.  Surprised us all how good he could box. Changed everyone’s perception of him--he never said much but when he did he meant it.  He had a nice way about him.  He also had a good jump shot. Funny what we remember. Point is, he was a good guy.  I’m sorry he had to leave us so soon. Condolences to his family.
