Our Sister, Nancy "Gena" McDermott-Ecklberry passed away today 8-22-11 at a Hospice in Duluth Georgia. Funeral arrrangments are pending. She leaves behind Sons, Michael, Ryan, Daughter Nicol.

Eugenia Eckelberry, 62, of Cumming passed away Monday, Aug. 22, 2011. She worked at Walmart for 20 years and was a devoted member of Mountain Lake Church in Cumming. She was preceded in death by her father.
She is survived by her sons, Mike and (Lynn) Eckelberry of Cumming, Ryan Eckelberry of Cumming; daughter, Nicole Eckelberry of Alpharetta; brothers, Rex McDermott of Germany, Mickey McDermott of Montgomery, Ala., Timm McDermott of Columbus; sister, Marion Pelfrey of Seale, Ala.; grandchild, Joey Scruggs Jr and her Mother Sallie McDermott of Columbus.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday Aug. 24, at 11:30 a.m. at Sawnee View Gardens Cemetery in Cumming. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, Aug. 23, from 6-9 p.m.
Byars Funeral Home and Cremation Services is in charge of arrangements.
