comment posted by Patty.  I am so fortunate to have had you in my life and the lives of Rhonda, Mikey, Jessica and Brendan.  Like Brendan said:  "My Uncle Jim- he was a good man and I'm going to miss him"  We do.

My brother, James Calvin Clemens class of 1971 recently passed away-September 3, 2011, in Gatlinburg, TN. Jim had enlisted in the Navy shortly after graduation. He was assigned to the aircraft carrier Ranger and participated in Operation Line Backer- the bombing of Hanoi in December 1972 which hastened the ending of our involvement in the Viet Nam war. He suffered injuries to his knee and back which plagued him for the rest of his life. He was an honorable, loving, giving man who posessed integrity and valor and is missed by all who knew him. Love you, Jim!
